Thank you for considering Domestic Violence & Child Advocacy Center as a place to invest your time and talent. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, DVCAC is mindful of keeping clients, staff, and volunteers as safe as possible. While there are currently no volunteer positions available, you may complete and submit the volunteer application. DVCAC will keep your application on file and you will be considered for future opportunities.

Required Training:

All volunteers are required to submit an application. Once your application is accepted, there will be an interview to discuss volunteer opportunities and answer any questions.

Volunteers must then attend one of our three annual DVCAC volunteer training classes. A background check is required before training and will be paid for by the volunteer (usually around $40) The volunteer training program is a comprehensive 20-hour course which typically occurs over a two week period and includes an online component. Attendance for all sessions is mandatory.

Those interested in volunteering in a non-direct service capacity are required to participate in a shortened 3-hour training session.
