Info for Adult Survivors

If you have a history of child abuse or other childhood trauma, memories and feelings related to those experiences may be carried through to adulthood. This may happen when you have your own children, are forming relationships, or find yourself in seemingly unrelated situations.  This can make it difficult to function in a healthy and productive manner.

DVCAC provides group therapy for adult survivors of child abuse, dealing with the impact, trauma and emotional effects and challenges of the abuse on adult life.

Appointments are available at convenient locations and times, including evening hours. Administrative hours are from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Medicaid, Medical Mutual and Aetna are accepted or Sliding Fee.

Please call the Family & Child Advocacy Helpline at 216-391-HELP (4357) for more information.
